Fly Fishing for Rainbow Trout at Jubilee Lakes in County Durham
Posted 7th July 2020
After reviewing things very carefully we've decided we still aren't going to open the Lakes or the Tackle Shop yet. We don't think the situation is certain and worryingly we have had enquiries for fishing from anglers coming from areas where cases of Covid are on the rise - and they are completely unconcerned about the health risk! Maybe we are being over cautious but we'd like to see things settle down before putting our anglers or family at risk.
We've been overwhelmed by messages of support and would like to thankyou all for that and it's great to see the rise in interest in flytying and especially so many newcomers taking it up.
It is such a shame about the fishing though! Dave & Sandra
