Fly Fishing for Rainbow Trout at Jubilee Lakes in County Durham
Posted 12th May 2020 - Covid Update
After considering things carefully we've decided we aren't going to open yet for fishing or for customers for the tackle shop. We will have to wait because members of our family with other health problems would be at risk. We don't think things are that certain yet and though we aren't badly hit here in the Darlington area we have anglers coming in from other areas where cases were still on the rise only last week. We'd like to see if there's going to be a resurgence before we put our family and our anglers at risk.
We've really been overwhelmed by messages of support from our anglers and it's great to see the rise in interest in flytying and especially so many newcomers taking it up.
If you do need tackle or tying equipment we are still supplying online at www.anglers-lodge.co.uk or you can phone in on 01388772611. We deliver next day or you can place your order then arrange a time to collect from a safe place outside our gate at any reasonable time.
Very sorry about the fishing! Dave & Sandra
